With today's internet it's very easy to "shop" for anything you need for a wedding, but what you don't always get are legitimate vendors who know nor have the experience needed. Also, be sure there is a stipulation in the contract that if your entertainment cancels on you, you have recourse for a refund. I hear so many horror stories when brides call me at the last minute because their DJ cancelled on them a week or two before the wedding! The first thing I ask them "did you have a signed contract?", and 99% of the time they say "no". This means that "Joe Blow DJ" ran off with your deposit and you have no legal action you can take. So, you're stuck right?
